During a recent corporate retreat at the Courtyard by Marriott, I found myself assessing its suitability for business travelers. The hotel's conference and meeting spaces—totaling around 5,000 square feet—proved practical for our needs, accommodating presentations and discussions efficiently. My experience was marred by some bumps. Initially, I was greeted with an odd check-in incident, but the front desk staff, showing understanding for my situation, swiftly allowed me to adjust room bookings late at night. the room was quiet, ideal for undisturbed work sessions—though it could use a touch more hospitality, such as complimentary breakfast offerings. On the plus side, the hotel offers robust amenities: a business center with reliable Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, and the convenience of a fitness center. The outdoor pool and pond were lovely for stress relief after long meetings. I found the parking fee of $15 a bit excessive for the area, where ample space was available.
